I (was on) a Fulbright to research graffiti in Brazil and the impact artists have had on both beautifying the cities and conquering the public's approval of graffiti as a legitimate form of art. There’s also some interesting government appropriation of this otherwise grassroots movement, and that is ripe for researching too. I'm also here to have my first baby some time in the next 2 months or so, and to experience the wonders of motherhood in Brazil.
